The Ermenrich Ping ES20 Wall Pipe Blockage Detector is designed to locate blockages in metal and non-metal pipes made of steel, copper, iron, PVC, plastic, or cement. It is a great tool for checking the condition of water pipes and sewer pipes for both professional and domestic use.

The device includes a transmitter (remote probe) and a receiver. The probe on a 20-meter-long cable (65ft) is placed in the pipe and moved inside until it stops due to the blockage in the pipe. Then, you sweep the receiver along the pipe – the device starts beeping and flashing near the blockage. The closer the receiver gets to the probe, the stronger the signal and the louder the audible alert will become.

The probe is IP67 rated, which makes it suitable for short-term water immersion when inspecting pipes. It comes with an accessory kit that can be used to repair the probe if it has been damaged inside the pipe. The maximum working distance of the receiver is 150mm for metal pipes and 400mm for non-metal pipes. There is an option to adjust the sensitivity. Both the receiver and transmitter are powered by rechargeable batteries. The probe works up to 10 hours on a single charge, and the receiver works up to 4 hours.
