Once set, the power supply to the connected device is automatically activated or deactivated depending on the brightness and the option set. Decide for yourself: You can switch the device on and off completely manually by selecting the "ON" or "OFF" mode or you can use one of the dusk options. In the general twilight mode, the power outlet switches on as soon as it gets dark.
