The two-piece guide rail FKS 145 is not only suitable for mains-operated circular hand saws, but also for cordless circular handsaws with a small base plate. The guide rail can be used with commercially available circular hand saws with a cutting depth of 40-70 mm, a saw blade diameter of 130-200 mm and a base plate with dimensions ranging from 78 x 210 mm to 256 x 385 mm. Two foam rubber strips on the underside of the aluminium rail ensure non-slip contact with your workpiece while the two associated clamps with protective caps ensure secure fixing of the rail to the surface without any damage. You can use it to make straight and long cuts as well as mitre cuts through longer workpieces with ease, even in areas far away from the edge. The rubber li
p reduces the risk of skips and marks the cutting edge at the same time. Corresponding notches in the rail automatically open and close the circular hand saw's safety guard as it moves over them. You adjust the guide carriage exactly to the rail using three adjustment screws. Aligning the circular hand saw on the rail's guide carriage is also quick and easy. The integrated alignment aid on the guide carriage helps you to set the correct distance between the saw blade and the guide rail, without the need for a folding rule. The FKS 145 can be separated in the middle and securely joined using two connectors. Together, the two sections permit a cutting length of 110 cm – one section is sufficient for cutting lengths of up to 55 cm. If you want to work on extra-long workpieces, you can extend the guide rail to a cutting length of 220 cm using the optionally available extension set (art. no. 6914000) – the ideal circular hand saw accessory for cutting and shortening door leaves and kitchen worktops and for all tasks where guidance and safety are required.
